Where's Loot? Friday
Hello friends and fans of Loot! We sincerely apologize for our absence on the blog. I hope you all know we haven’t forgotten about you and are dying to show you some of our new digs. Oh, do we ever have some great rentals to share. But you have to wait until Monday!
As you all know, fall wedding season is officially in FULL SWING and Loot is a happy sponsor of the season. We are having a blast outfitting some beautiful open houses and weddings with some of our vintage items. Here are some pictures of The Palm Door’s open house.
The Palm Door is a sweet little event space full of charm located in the heart of downtown. We loved how our vintage pieces snuggled in this space for a classy reception featuring the yummiest fare from Pink Avocado catering. We also were intrigued by the flip book booth by On the Flipside. All the beautiful photography you see from the event was provided by the very talented Katherine O’Brien.

In other news, we are so proud to announce our participation in the grandest party the Austin wedding market has ever seen:
A little Loot back story. When Anna and I decided to start Loot, we were immediately entranced by the Hitched event that took place in California (Hitched changed its name to The Cream ). Just reading and seeing pictures of the event, we knew that this was the future of the wedding industry and we were so excited to do our part to offer this level of class and sophistication to central Texas. Little did we realize that The Cream would take on Texas and we would be able to showcase our goods in a world class setting curated by the dream team at Bash, Please! And we’d be able to party with other fantastic wedding professionals such as The Nouveau Romantics, 100 Layer Cake, and Brooke Schwab! (Continue to check The Cream’s website for more vendor reveals!). It just keeps getting better and better.
Oh, yes. The Cream is coming to Austin, y’all. Prepare to experience what weddings SHOULD be on January 22 at Mercury Hall. We are thrilled to be one the featured vendors and urge anyone that wants some fresh style in their wedding to come to this event! Tickets are available at www.thecreamevent.com.
Wish us luck next week as we take on the fleas of Warrenton and Round Top. Look for some new loot to boot in the upcoming Mondays!
