Free Love 2026: A Valentine’s Day Wedding Experience in Austin
Free Love is part of who we are and this year felt like the truest version yet. On Valentine’s Day, we turned the Austin Motel carport into our Little Pink Chapel, draped in blush and crimson, layered with floral artistry from Remi + Gold, and brought to life with the incredible design from In Ink Weddings. The energy was the kind you just can’t manufacture.
Seven couples said their vows, some for the first time, some all over again, while a crowd of strangers gathered outside in the rain, cheering, tearing up, and leaning in. It was more than a wedding, it was a reminder of why Austin’s nontraditional, design-forward wedding experiences feel so special.
This wasn’t just about the decor, though it showed up. It was about community, vendors showing up for each other, couples choosing each other out loud, and a celebration that was generous, joyful, and deeply human.
