Celebrating Plant-Based Traditions with Alexa Soto at Siete Foods

We recently had the pleasure of being part of an incredible cooking demo hosted by Alexa Soto at the Siete Foods Headquarters. It was an event that beautifully intertwined tradition with innovation, as Alexa showcased recipes from her latest creation, Plantas. This book is a love letter to Mexico’s rich legacy of plant-based cooking, thoughtfully reimagined for today’s kitchen. Her approach to honoring the soulful essence of Mexican cuisine while infusing it with modern flair was nothing short of inspiring. The event was a feast for the senses, full of vibrant colors and flavors. Gypsy Floral added pops of color with their florals throughout the space, enhancing the vibrant energy of the day. Swag bags were placed on top of our Bentwood chairs for the guests, offering a thoughtful touch before they sat down for the demo. Of course, no celebration of Mexican cuisine would be complete without a nod to the country’s renowned cocktails. Chapter Social + Spirits served up refreshing Paloma Fresca and Margarita De Jalapeño behind our well-loved Arcadia Bar. This fun, family-friendly daytime event was more than just a cooking demo—it was a celebration of community, culture, and the joy of gathering together over good food and drink.
