Loot Vintage Rentals, LLC (“Loot Rentals”, “we”, or “us”) recognizes the importance of privacy. In this Privacy Policy, we describe how we collect, store, use, and disclose the information that we may obtain from and about users of our website located at https://lootrentals.com and any associated websites linked from or to such website (collectively, the “Site”) or through any applications accessible via the Site or in connection with any services Loot Rentals provides via the Site or any such applications (collectively, together with the Site, the “Service”).
We will not use or share your personal information with any person or entity other than as described in this Privacy Policy. We use your personal information solely to the extent necessary to provide you with the Service, to improve the Service, and to comply with applicable laws. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and that any dispute with us related to your privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect Directly from You. Most of the information about you that we may collect will be collected directly from you. We collected and process your data when you:
- visit, view and otherwise use the Site, via your website browser’s cookies (see “Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms” below for more information);
- voluntary complete a contact form via the Site or provide us feedback via the Service;
- register for an account with us or to receive news, newsletters or other updates from us via the Service; and
- purchase goods or services from us via the Service.
Information We Collect About You from Third Parties. We may also collect information about you from third parties. For example, to the extent we provide you with the ability to log into an account with Loot Rentals using your account credentials for a third-party site, we will collect the account credentials for your account with such third-party site, and you are granting us access to personal profile fields stored by such third-party site. In addition, we may request access to other information stored with such third-party site, such as your contacts. We may store and process the information that we receive from third-party sites with other information that we collect from you or receive about you, but the applicable third-party site controls the information it collects from you. We have no control over how any third party uses or discloses the information it collects about you, and you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to review and understand the respective privacy policies of any such third-party sites.
Information We Collect About You Automatically Through Our Service. We automatically collect information about you through your use of the Service, including (without limitation) your IP address, browser type, domain name, the website that led you to the Service, the website to which you go after leaving the Service, the dates and times you access the Service, and the links you click on via the Site, and any of your other activities within the Service. We may combine information we collect automatically with any other information that we collect directly from you or from third parties.
Location and Geolocation Information. We may infer information about your location from the information that you provide to us directly or from your IP address. You may share certain content with us through the Service, including (without limitation) by filling out the Contact form made available on the Site, by e-mailing us feedback or other comments, and by otherwise providing us with your content or publicly posting your content via the Service, to the extent we provide such functionality at any time (“User Submissions”). You acknowledge that your User Submissions may be available to other users of the Site and that we cannot prevent such users from using any User Submissions in a manner that would violate this Privacy Policy, applicable law, or your personal privacy.
COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING MECHANISMS
We and our service providers use cookies and other tracking mechanisms to track information about your use of the Service. We or our service providers may combine this information with other information, including personal information, that we collect about you.
Cookies. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser for record-keeping purposes. Some cookies allow us to make it easier for you to navigate the Service, while others are used to enable a faster log-in process or to allow us to track your activities while using the Service. Clear GIFs, Pixel Tags and Other Technologies. Clear GIFs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your computer’s hard drive, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on web pages. We may use clear GIFs (also referred to as web beacons, web bugs or pixel tags), in connection with the Service to, among other things, track the activities users of the Service, help us manage content, and compile statistics about usage of the Service. We and our third-party service providers also use clear GIFs in HTML e-mails to our customers, to help us track e-mail response rates, identify when our e-mails are viewed, and track whether our e-mails are forwarded.
Do Not Track Disclosure. Our Service does not respond to Do Not Track signals. For more information about Do Not Track signals, please click here. You may, however, disable certain tracking as discussed in the Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms section above (e.g., by disabling cookies). THIRD-PARTY ANALYTICS
We may use third-party analytics companies to evaluate use of the Service. We or our service providers use these tools to help us understand use of, and to improve, the Service, performance, and user experiences. These entities may use cookies and other tracking technologies, such as web beacons or local storage objects (LSOs), to perform their services. Such analytics companies include Google Analytics. INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING
We may use third parties such as network advertisers to serve advertisements on the Service and on third-party websites or other media (e.g., social media platforms). This enables us and these third parties to target advertisements to you for products and services in which you might be interested. Users in the United States may opt out of many third-party ad networks. For example, you may go to the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) Consumer Choice Page for information about opting out of interest-based advertising and your choices regarding having information used by DAA companies. You may also go to the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) Consumer Opt-Out Page for information about opting out of interest-based advertising and your choices regarding having information used by NAI members.
Opting out from one or more companies listed on the DAA Consumer Choice Page or the NAI Consumer Opt-Out Page will opt you out from those companies’ delivery of interest-based content or ads to you, but it does not mean you will no longer receive any advertising through our Site or on other websites. You may continue to receive advertisements, for example, based on the particular website that you are viewing (i.e., contextually based ads). Also, if your browsers are configured to reject cookies when you opt out on the DAA or NAI websites, your opt out may not be effective. THIRD-PARTY SITES & SERVICES
The Site may contain links to certain third-party websites and the Service may integrate with certain services offered by third parties, including the following services.
We use Mailchimp to send marketing e-mails to our users who have subscribed to our mailing list, as well as to manage our subscriber list. By subscribing to our mailing list, you hereby consent to our sharing with Mailchimp your name and e-mail address and any other contact information we reasonably request in order to provide this service in integration with Mailchimp, and understand and acknowledge that Mailchimp may collect certain additional information from you in connection with the service they provide, which will be in accordance with Mailchimp’s terms of use and privacy policy.
We use Shopify to provide us with certain marketing services related to of the retail segment of the Service. By using the Service, you hereby consent to Shopify’s collection of certain information related to you, as reasonably necessary to provide this aspect of the Service, and understand and acknowledge that Shopify may collect certain additional information from you in connection with the service they provide, which will be in accordance with Shopify’s terms of service and customer privacy policy.
For our customer orders, invoicing and inventory management, we use two third-party service providers: GoodShuffle and RW Elephant. By accessing or using our Service, you hereby consent to the use of such third-party services, and acknowledge that their practices with respect to your personal information is not governed by this Privacy Policy but is instead governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies:

You agree that Loot Rentals is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of our third-party service providers, including the third-party payment processors described below, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.
We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Site and otherwise provide information to a third-party service provider in connection with our Service, and to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of each such third-party website or service, as we have provided.
PAYMENT INFORMATION & PROCESSING
Loot Rentals does not itself process any payments for its services. We do not directly receive any payment information from you and therefore do not store any of your payment information. Instead, any payment information you provide in order to pay for our services is entered directly via GoodShuffle’s platform. GoodShuffle uses the third-party payment processor Stripe to process payments made our users’ payments. By using the Stripe payment services available through GoodShuffle, you agree to be bound by Stripe’s terms and conditions, along with Stripe’s privacy policy, as well as GoodShuffle’s terms of use and privacy policy, which require you to consent and authorize GoodShuffle to share with Stripe the information you provide to them to the extent required to provide the payment services to you. SECURITY
We have taken steps to help protect the personal information we collect. However, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security. You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your device and account by, among other things, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess and keeping your log-in and password private. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.
YOUR CHOICES
Loot Rentals would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user of the Service is entitled to the following:
Accessing, Modifying, or Deleting Your Personal Information. You may access, modify, or delete the personal information that you have provided to us by contacting us at [email protected]. Please note that we may retain certain information about you as required by law or as permitted by law for legitimate business purposes (e.g., in accordance with our lawful record retention policies). For example, if you request that we delete your information but we believe that you have violated the terms of any agreement between you and Loot Rentals, including (without limitation) the Website Terms, we may retain information about you in order to attempt to resolve the issue before deleting it.
Opting out of Marketing Emails. We may send periodic promotional e-mails to you. You may opt out of such communications by following the opt-out instructions contained in the e-mail or e-mailing us at [email protected]. Please note that it may take up to ten (10) business days for us to process opt-out requests. If you opt out of receiving e-mails about recommendations or other information we think may interest you, we may still send you e-mails about your account or any Service you have requested or received from us.
California Residents. Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California have the right to request from a business, with whom the California resident has an established business relationship, certain information with respect to the types of personal information the business shares with third parties for direct marketing purposes by such third party and the identities of the third parties with whom the business has shared such information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
