Loot: Brass Candlesticks

Our amber apothecary jars, rich colored glass goblets, and brass candlesticks fit in perfectly against the jewel toned greenery and plum accents. Gypsy Floral and Events did a wonderful job of bringing the feel of the mossy forest floor up to table level – with moss runners, botanical place cards courtesy of The Stationary Bakery, and mushroom accents. They all sat so perfectly atop our Easton Farm Table. We wanted to sit right down on our Agnes couch, pour ourselves a glass of red wine, and get the dinner party started.

We love the look our our Loot in this setting where peonies, ferns, and wild mushrooms play into a bohemian feel. You can almost smell the floral fragrance through these pictures

From the Archives: Bohemian Summer Wedding Inspiration // Loot Handmade

This bohemian summer wedding inspiration is an oldie, but a goodie nonetheless. We couldn’t help but share it here on the blog.

Last summer, Loot Vintage Rentals gathered together with other top-notch central Texas vendors for a wedding open house at The Allan House. We were so thrilled to get to work alongside Gypsy Floral and Events and Amber Vickery Photography – and The Allan House always provides an incredible backdrop for our Loot.

The Loot lounges provided comfortable little nooks to post-up and relax in.  And our lace covered teepee was a hit – who doesn’t want to lounge in one of those?!

We’re always excited to develop unique items for events, and the open house provided us with a wonderful excuse to do just that. We got to work on a number of projects. Handmade wooden candleholders were cut and handpainted. Dip-dyed cheesecloth runners in a perfect hue of peach provided a little pop of playful color. The triangle dreamcatchers also got a healthy dose of Loot flare as well – crafted from copper piping, shredded fabric, wooden beads, and crystals. They hung so perfectly, adding a slightly whimsical touch to the decor.

And what can we say about the Loot Handmade Triangle Backdrop? We were so proud of the way it turned out! Adorned with little pieces of our loot, Gypsy Floral also added pieces of greenery and bright blooms. It felt very fitting with the summer bohemian vibe of the open house.
